Q. Who is Compu-Zone?
A: Compu-Zone.ie is an independent company that has no affiliation to any other brand, company or corporation. As a company, we have been trading online for over 19 years through various online outlets. We offer a range of great value products and take pride in our customer service.
Q. I noticed that your address is UK based, but you have an Irish domain name. do you have a store in Ireland?
A: Compu-Zone.ie was launched in 2013 due to the increasing demand for our products from Irish customers. Before we started the site, customers would purchase from our UK website and have to pay in Pounds Sterling. We decided to launch Compu-Zone.ie so customers could buy products in their currency and also not have to incur currency conversion charges. All of our products are dispatched from the UK mainly using DPD or sometimes another carrier depending on the weight/size etc.
Q. If I purchase a refurbished computer or laptop what condition will it be in?
A: All of our refurbished computers and laptops undertake a detailed and thorough reconditioning process. We run extensive hardware diagnostic tests to ensure all the components are fully functional. Hard drives are securely wiped to the highest levels. (MOD Standards) and any components showing signs of wear or stress are replaced. Some computers/laptops may have slight marks and scratches on their cases but these will be cosmetic only. We pride ourselves on only selling the highest quality refurbished products.
Q. How much is postage and packaging?
A: Our standard delivery charge is rom €17.50, which takes 5-7 working day delivery and an express delivery service for €29.17.
Please note bulk orders and upgraded systems may take longer to process no matter what delivery method you choose, however, they will still be prioritized according to what delivery method has been chosen.
Q. Who will ship my goods?
A. We use DPD for secure delivery to your door and you will receive a tracking number when the goods have been dispatched along with 1-hour delivery Window notification sent on the morning of delivery
Q. How long does it take for my goods to arrive?
A: This depends on the delivery method chosen. Upgrades can delay the shipping of the order slightly depending on the amount chosen.
Q: What if I am out when the courier company try to deliver?
A: You will receive an email/Text message when your order has been dispatched along with a delivery date. On the morning of the delivery date, you will receive another email/text message along with a one-hour delivery window, so you know exactly when to expect your delivery. Once more you also have a range of alternative options to choose from as below:
- Select an alternative delivery date
- Opt for delivery to a nominated neighbour
- Have the parcel delivered to a local shop
- Have the parcel left in a specified safe place
- Collect the parcel from a DPD depot

Q: What about warranty?
A: We offer 12 months RTB warranty on all refurbished desktops and 6 Months Warranty on Refurbished Laptops unless otherwise stated, this does not cover batteries on refurbished laptops.
